Code of Conduct
Last updated: 28 April 2026
Warsaw Speed Friending exists to make meeting new people easier, safer, and less awkward. To protect that, everyone is expected to behave with basic respect.
1. Respect people’s boundaries
- No harassment, intimidation, stalking, or aggressive behaviour.
- No unwanted physical contact.
- No sexual comments, pressure, or creepy behaviour.
- No repeatedly contacting someone after they clearly show disinterest.
2. This is not a dating event
The event is designed for friendship and social connection. Flirting may happen naturally between adults, but the format is not built for dating, pickup behaviour, or romantic pressure.
3. No aggressive selling or networking
- Do not pitch your business aggressively.
- Do not recruit people into schemes, communities, or commercial offers.
- Do not treat the event like a lead-generation room.
4. Be present
- Listen properly.
- Do not dominate every conversation.
- Do not mock people’s accents, background, job, nationality, or personality.
- Give others space to speak.
5. Alcohol and behaviour
If alcohol is available at an event, drink responsibly. Being drunk is not an excuse for disrespectful or unsafe behaviour.
6. Photos and privacy
Do not take close-up photos or videos of other participants without permission. If official photos are taken, you can tell the host if you do not want to appear.
7. Host decisions
The host may warn, remove, or ban anyone who breaks this Code of Conduct or makes the event unsafe or uncomfortable for others.
Removal from an event may happen without refund if the behaviour is serious.
8. Reporting an issue
If someone makes you uncomfortable during an event, speak to the host as soon as possible. After the event, you can email:
warsawspeedfriending@gmail.com
9. Final standard
We are not trying to make this complicated. Be respectful. Be socially aware. Let people enjoy the room.
